Clan Scarf - Wallace

This is a quality scarf made from 100% lambswool. The name is thought to derive from 'Walensis', meaning a Briton from Strathclyde region of Scotland, and a Richard Walensis is recorded in Ayrshire in the twelfth century. One of his descendants was the great Scottish patriot and 'Braveheart' William Wallace who set the country ablaze in his fight against English occupation. Eventually betrayed, he was brutally executed in London in 1305.

Measures 12.5" by 60" (with 3" fringe on each end).
