Small Celtic Quaich made from pewter, beautifully decorated with bold celtic knot design.
The ancient Scottish Quaich has traditionally been used for hundreds of years throughout Scotland, originally used by "Aw the Heiland Chiefs, O' Aw the Heiland Clans" as a cup of friendship and welcome, today in Scotland, the tradition still lives on, the Quaich is filled with a good Scottish Single Malt Whisky and offered at ceremonies & celebrations. One place in particular in Scotland comes to mind where the old traditions are still followed to this day by Scottish Patriot Bill Duncan, custodian of the Loch Callater Lodge, high up in the Scottish Cairngorm Mountains. If you ever visit Loch Callater, then you may just meet Bill at the Lodge where you are sure to receive a warm Scottish welcome.
