William Wallace Tribute (swords)
Laser engraved tribute to Sir William Wallace onto a piece of natural slate. The sword shown on slate is an engraving of the sword that is kept in the National Wallace Monument and said to be the actual sword of Sir William Wallace, Guardian of Scotland.
Slate size approx 250x400mm and comes with two holes so that the slate can easily be hung on a wall. Looks good using a couple of old rusty nails to keep the rustic look.
PhotoSlates are in every way meant to be old, rugged & rustic looking, keeping the feeling of time gone by, as ancient as the Scottish History that they portray. Although each PhotoSlate is approx 250x400mm each one is unique in characteristics. Chips, marks, blemishes and scratches are all part of the norm and add to the character of each slate. The slate is a natural slate and has only been hand cut to a basic size and has not been polished or smoothed, just left as natural as it was when it first came out the ground. Sometimes the slate can have gold speckles through it which are actually Metallic Sulphides or also known as Iron Pyrites, so if you do find a piece in your slate, don't get too excited as now you know it's not gold!
