Hi Folks!

Here at Scotland's Bothy we make all kinds of unique and unusual gifts. Shown here is a nice example of  some of the more unusual things we make. This wall plaque is a locally sourced piece of Scottish Elm Wood which has been hand crafted to shape following the natural grain of the wood to achieve the shape. It has then been laser engraved with the profile of one of the most well known hills here in the North East of Scotland "Bennachie" or "Beinn na Ciche" in Scots Gaelic. Once the wood has been shaped, smoothed and engraved, it is then given a nice protective lacquer which also brings out the beautiful natural grain of the wood. This particular plaque measures approx 18"x8.5" and can be hung on a wall with the steel eyelets attched to rear of plaque.
