The pattern on this plate follows in the tradition of the Celtic monks of the 6th century who transcribed the Gospels into colourful illuminated manuscripts and decorated the vellum pages with flowing interlacing ribbon work. The classic ring joining the arms of the cross is said to be a symbol of eternity.
Each plate has a hanger on the back, or if you prefer to dsplay the plate on a shelf or table, a stand is also included
